This 10-day summer festival is dedicated to promoting a sense of family in our community, to reuniting family and friends from around the world, and to celebrating the many recreational, cultural and support services in our community. Typical events include the Homecoming parade and official opening, barbecue, entertainment, worship services, boat tours of Shortts lake, a brunch and 2 NIGHTS of Whing Ding. Every day has a list of different events for all ages. For photos from past Homecoming events please check out our photo gallery.

All events are organized (from planning to clean-up) by volunteers. We recognize it takes the tremendous effort of many volunteers to make Coming Home to Brookfield a success. The Homecoming committee does a wonderful job of coordinating efforts and recruiting volunteers to assist with the details, as well as saying “thanks” to the event organizers.

Local businesses and organizations have been very supportive of Coming Home to Brookfield over the years.
Generous donations of staff time, facilities, food, and money help to make the festival a success year after year.
